Search new houses by price, square footage, floor plan and more. Although the projected completion time was longer than expected, the home is great and the sales/contracting teams were very professional. Although, I feel that construction workers really should not leave their food and beverage garbage in someone's home. We visited the site on a weekly basis and there was always garbage just throw all over place when there was a huge dumpster right outside on the lot. Management does not micro-manage, they let you do your job and give you acclimates when you deserve them. Just a great overall company to work for. Integrated technology in the field for managing trades easier. Nothing that isn't inherent in home building.
Feel bad for the great sales rep. we had. She regularly had to intervene where the construction Mgr. & or Super couldn’t or wouldn’t fix what needed to be fixed or even offer an update/explanation.

Schedules and timelines change, pushing up or back at a moment's notice. This division is truly a family, the level of investment in employees and their growth is exceptional. Employees are service oriented, and willing to help no matter the department or job description. The longevity in the division results in a human research library- someone is bound to know the answer to your question. I look forward to coming to work every day, even the crazy ones.
We chose Richmond American because of the quality craftsmanship. We had a great overall experience and will most definitely share this experience with our friends and family. Garage was big, but the drywall has huge cracks over 8’long and the garage A/C was hung by individuals who don’t give a damn. White glove was ridiculous, blue tape fixes weren’t fixed, and blatant issues never corrected.

I have met so many incredibly talented people who have made me better. Very grateful for the opportunity to take care of my family. No one can communicate times/days of when someone is going to show up to resolve issues.
They also have no interest in providing any sort of customer service. Wait to purchase a Richmond American Home until after a homeowner has repaired all their poor quality work. The structure and foundation was good but any finishing work was sub par at best. Everyone from Division President on down authentically cares and works as a team. Consistent bonuses and cost of living pay increases. Management listens and responses to input.

Some clueless, back stabbing, cut throat folks there. A draw salary structure in which takes at least a year or two to dig out of until you actually get a commission check.
Better follow up to the walk through before closing and follow up to repairs after closing. Great in the sales side and design center. Construction team had challenges on crews, supply chain and competing needs. Back end superintendent, Brandon was great to work with. This was our first home purchase and we are very happy with the overall results and experience that we have had since day one. It's hard to believe that we have already been in our amazing home for six months, everyone has still been in contact with us and they ensure that our home is as wonderful as the day we decided to buy.
